It’s been about 3 weeks since the autonomous playhouse bus tour finally reached Taos, nm. A lot of hard work has been done and the fnb free school garden is starting to kick off. The land has been plowed and volunteers are now working on raising garden beds, building walk paths, making compost and planting/sprouting seeds. The well is being drilled so soon there will be plenty of water for gardening and drinking.
A friend fom Israel and anarchists agains the wall came visit us on his tour through the US. He did a workshop on co-counseling which is a form of mental health therapy that allows a group of 2 or more people to listen, talk and work through our stresses and emotions in a healthy and non hierachal way. Which was very helpfuL for the volunteers on the land. It was our first fnb free school class. Hopefully soon we will have space for people to come visit and volunteer. Next year we will have classes available on sustainable agriculture, herbal medicine, yoga, art, puppetry, non-violent direct action, effective organizing around protesting and community organizing.
